Schweizer anglistische Arbeiten ; Bd. 130 Swisss Studies in Englisch Il poeta inglese Capel Lofft si trasferì nel 1822 a Torino e poi a Moncalieri, dove morì il 26 maggio 1824. "His body was transported to the tiny Waldensian village of San Germano and buried on 29 May 1824 by the local pastor Reverend D. Monnet" (p. 31). L'Autore cita poi il testo della la lapide che si trova nella "small burial chapel"di San Germano, "built in 1822" (p. 32; plate 5) |
